Iridology: Diagnosis by the iris

Iridology, also called iriology, iridiology, or iridodiagnosis is an alternative medicine technique considered pseudo-therapy whose advocates claim can determine information about a patient’s systemic health by examining the patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the eye’s iris. Practitioners use iris maps, which divide this area of the human eye into zones that correspond to specific parts of the body, and view the eyes as the “windows” of general health.
